I take prozac(60mg) for anxiety and clonazepam(1mg) as well. The guy at the vitamin shoppe suggested passion flower to me. I often have a hard time staying a sleep and what not. Would I benefit? Or would it mix with my medication?
justk8 on our system I come up with it could lower your level of Prozac Check with your Doctor or Pharmacist first most these people in the vitamin shop well say anything to sell the product and your not playing with cards This is very strong Medication.Hold off until you find out proof. Chuck1957
Hi Kate, I'm sure this will upset more than a few but if homeopathic is in the title you have just bought a placebo. Now this one is my pet hates and that is Liver boosters, cleansers, detoxifiers are almost all, without fail, toxic to the liver. Given what you are taking for anxiety, Valerian tea might be the best and safest to look at.
You may need something stronger or change the time you take your medication (Prozac, does it make you sleepy or wakeful?; Clonazepam does not matter when you take it really although you could try taking it before bed). As for sleeping pills they are a real double edged sword, tolerance builds up quickly and then they stop working leaving you with an extra sleep loss situation.
NOTE: All the above is personal opinion with the exception of homeopathic 'cures' which have undergone proper testing and analysis have determined that there is nothing active in any of those little liquid vials (the water ranges from tap water to de-ionized water. Actual plant extracts should be avoided unless they quantify the amounts and type of material used.
