This is all stuff he needs to discuss with his Dr. It depends on what is causing his ED. Usually, if testosterone is indicated, it has to be taken on a regular basis, not just when needed. Testosterone is a hormone and is usually only given if his own levels are too low. Other ED meds work by allowing greater blood flow into the penis. If he is not low on testosterone he should not take supplemental hormone. He should talk to his Dr to find out what is causing his ED.
