I want to take 2 pill packets (microgynon 30) in a row because i don't want to be on my period over my birthday but am unable to get a doctors appointment on time to start another pack straight away - I have an old pack that i took 6 pills of and then decided i didnt need to be on the pill a while ago, can i use those remaining ones and then switch onto a new packet for the remaining 6 pills? Ill go on my period and then start a new one fresh. Pregnancy risk? Im confused. Thanks
I suggest that you continue taking them without break until the 3rd pack, You will then have taken a whole pack and should be back on track. If you could get another pack instead of using a partial one, you would be fine not taking You cannot take a partial pack as the full month and basically stop them early. It would not harm you in any way to skip your period twice. Some women skip it 3 times then have a period the 4th time, all the time.
