... cause renal damage? what is true? what precautions one should take while consming "parsely" ?
Parsley mainly said to work as a diuretic which means it increases urine output and some state it helps with kidney stones and UTI's. I have seen nothing that states it helps with microalbumin which is protein in the urine from diabetic kidney damage. Evidence that parsley works at all is insufficient. The appropriate dose of parsley depends on several factors such as the user's age, health, and several other conditions. At this time there is not enough scientific information to determine an appropriate range of doses for parsley. Keep in mind that natural products are not always necessarily safe and dosages can be important. Be sure to follow relevant directions on product labels and consult your pharmacist or physician or other healthcare professional before using.
