I was on paroxetine for 2 years it worked really good my anxiety was eliminated I felt like I was fixed already so I decided to cut the doses without letting my physician know about 2 months ago I ended up relapsing because I got my anxiety back. Right when I had my anxiety attack on jan 21 I knew automatically it was because I lowered my dose. Since that day I been taking 30mg just like before but this time I got all the side effects flu like symptoms and my anxiety ampd up. Probly because I jumped to 30mg right away again. Anyway I almost on 4 weeks on 30 mg but I'm still very anxious and my anxiety is still there. I'm afraid it won't work the same. Can I get some advise I know I have a chemical imbalance now and need the medication for my brain to function correctly. But will it work the same
You may not know if it will works the same until you hit the 6-8 week mark. If you can, give it more time. It may start working again. Hang in there I know how anxiety sucks. Some of us on this site have experienced it and or still struggle with it. Hope you find what works for you soon.
