See if you have a county womens clinic. Some states and counties offer free or reduced cost womens clinics. The Pinellas County Health Department’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program provides free breast and cervical cancer screening exams including mammograms, pap smears, pelvic exams, and clinical breast exams to women who are 50 to 64 years of age (low income, and uninsured or under-insured).
Please call (727) 824-6917 to see if you qualify.
You can also try Susan G Komen for the cure to apply for a grant to get treatment @ www.komensuncoast.org.
another place to try is the American Cancer Society @ www.cancer.org
Have you tried calling HCA Pinellas County hospitals, which includes Edward White Hospital, Largo Medical Center, Northside Hospital and St. Petersburg General Hospital? They treated 31,082 uninsured patients in 2010 which is about 32% of their patient load. Bayfront Medical Center is the teaching hospital in your area. They have an OB/GYN residency program and state that one of their clinical areas of expertise is women's care. The other remaining option is the info provided by DzooBaby. Best wishes.
