... What should I do?
I'm sorry for your attacks. I have them also. Go to your doctor, let them know what's been happening and usually they will try to get you in a little quicker. I know you are not sleeping, having the heart palpitations, and all the other dreadful things that go along with it. They will give you medication that helps very well. I hope you start to feel better. You can also take a brown paper bag (lunch bag) cover your nose and mouth with it. It will help you to get better control with your breathing. Make sure you seal the bag with your hands around your nose and mouth. Breathe into your nose, count of seven and then breathe out slowly through your mouth, same count of seven. Good luck at your appointment and I hope you get to feeling better.
I use to suffer with panic attacks and anxiety for a very long time until my doctor prescribed me Ativan also know as Lorazepam and let me tell you, it works so good for me. No more panic attacks and yes I still suffer with anxiety but nothing like before. Ask your doctor about this medication. Hope your feeling better. I know how horribly scary these attacks can be.
