any suggestion on a medition? that would help.im take kolozapam for anxiety and 800mg ibuprofen for elbow pain.maybe a switch from kolozapam to xanax would help too? but i would like and idea of meditation if any are experienced in this
I'm assuming you meant Clonazepam/Klonapin in your question- it's an anti-anxiety often prescribed for anxiety and sleep. I take it for the same reasons. I'm not a professional, but I also have panic disorder (among other things) and sleep issues. As always, you should talk to your doctor about new medications. I can tell you about my experience though. I've taken Xanax and it's a heavy drug- I'm wary of it. I only take it in extreme circumstances, like having to get on an airplane or something else that frightens me too much to do it otherwise. If the problem is you can't relax enough to sleep, maybe your dosage of Klonapin needs to be changed; I've had mine changed several times. If it's that you're not tired, there are LOTS of other meds that can help with that, too many to list, just ask your doctor. If nightmares are keeping you awake, there is a medicine called Minipress that helps with that.
Really though, your doctor will know more than anyone here, so talking to him/her is better.
Good luck, and I hope you get some rest.
I too have have anxiety panic disorder and nightmares or just bad dreams most of the time. I take valium and it doesn't help and valium is suppose to relax and calm you but it works different for every person. I think that we worry so much during the day and it follows us into our dreams. Just my thoughts.
I used to not be able to sleep well too myself. I would take it and then a half-hour later im asleep. I talked to my doctor about it and he gave me a name of medication that you can buy at Walmart or your local pharmacy. If you would like the name of the medication let me know.
