... prozac 2 weeks ago and my job is being really rude and threatening to demote me or even let me go because some days i have it bad to where i find someone else to work for me. Ive been doing some meditation and i have xanax .25 mg but i am afraid to take it because i dont wanna feel tried or drowsy or dizzy. I also have a new car and make monthly payments so i need money coming in. I dont know what kind of jobs are easy for people with panic and anxiety. Help please. Does anyone know of any stay at home jobs or anything?
This sounds as though a need for weekly counseling, not meds, is needed. 2-weeks into Prozac is barely scratching the surface as far as getting it regulated. "Been doing some medication" and "I have Xanax" sounds like self-medicating, and yes, mixing that with Prozac will zonk you out. Any job will be a struggle unless you can establish a good rapport with a counselor. The stress of new car payments too? Time to reconsider / reassess.
I experienced this myself. I got a good therapist so that no matter what happened that I would have guidance and would't be so alone. Then I looked into family medical leave act and took a short term leave from work. You get up to 6 months. But only if you need to. You may find that a good therapist is all you need. I remember that I was payed a good percentage of my salary from the last 2 weeks that I worked. I don't know if this still applies. I wish you well.
I agree i need to get a therapist to help me. I am a procrastinator though. And i would take my week vacation but the owner is a little upset i have not been working much the past few weeks he would tell me i wouldnt get it. Thats what i believe. Hes all about his money. I know i need a new less stressful job around less negative people because it is so bad their. The only reason im staying is because i have been their for 4 1/2 years i know the people i feel comfortable around most and i am super scared to get a new job (because of the anxiety).
