Pancreatitis - what antibiotic is best to treat a infection in pancreas?

Not an easy question to answer...
Assuming you are referring to acute pancreatitis Cipro and Flagyl are recommended.

Terrible advice. I acquired pancreatitis as a side effect from Cipro and it is even listed as a possible side effect t now for Cipro and other fluoroquinolones. Please avoid especially if you already have pancreas issues!
