Hi. i've been haivng this pain on my right side of my stomach, specially after i eat something, so two weeks ago i ended up in the hospital. they took me for an ultrasound and they really didn't find anything bad but they told me i have high levels of protein in my body and the doctor put me on a diet she said because of my gallbladder i cannot eat fat foods or salty. it still hurts some days but a little less, i'm scared it might be pancreatitis or it might turn into that... =(

I am no doc, but I do have chronic panc. and have had it for a while no fun trust me..if I had to guess I would say it be more gallbladder then panc. for I also yrs ago had to have gallbladder out and had pain in right side etc..but it could be alot of things..usually when I have the major attacks it isn't in my side..it is in the middle of my stomach and radiates all the way around to my back..you can google chronic panc symptoms and causes and they will give them..there r multiple causes..excessive drinking, smoking cigs, GOD so many different things can't remember... I had pancreatic divisum and they told me with me not noing and it being left untreated it turned into what I have no both pancreatic divisum/chronic pancreatis... hope all your test go well..I will pray for u... feel free to pm me if u ever would like to ask a ? etc..
