I have CF and take Pancreaze every time I eat. The medication is great but the most frustrating problem I have is opening the medication bottles. I'm a 25-year-old woman and I have to ask my dad to open 95% of the bottles I receive. He cannot open them either and we have to use a tool to hold the cap while we twist the bottom. While we make a game of seeing who can open the bottles, it should not be this difficult. I understand child resistant caps, but this is ridiculous. Does anyone else have this issue? The most recent order is lot #804401.
Talk to your pharmacist about putting it in a different type of bottle for you. Some of these caps are just ridicules for people to open. If there are no children in the house it shouldn't be a worry. I don't know how the children of people who have kids the age of mine ever got to adulthood with all these "protections" but they did. lolol
