I am taking 10mg baclofen 3 times a day and 2 x 10mg amitriptyline at night. I am sleeping ok at night but during the day my back pain is quite severe and would like to know if I can take Panadol during the day. I had facet joint injections approx. 8 weeks ago and had a flare up of back spasm and terrific pain in the spine. The hospital said this could happen and prescribed me the baclofen and amitriptyline 2 weeks ago, it seemed to help after a few days, but the pain has come back just as severe in the first place. Until I can get hold of the hospital (which can be another nightmare) I would like to know if I can take the panadol or something else to relieve the pain during the day.
Can I take panadol with other prescription drugs?

it is safe to take panadol with your prescription drugs as acetaminophen (panadol) has no interaction with baclofen and amitriptyline. however taking baclofen and amitriptyline may increase dizziness and you may not be able to concentrate on a matter. it is better to consult your doctor to avoid any complication because of drug-drug interaction.
