I have had the pain for two days. Today it seems like it has moved down some. I can't hardly move my arm, it hurts so bad.
Can you add more info to your question? Could you have injured it? Do you have swelling or redness? If you press on your fingernails, do you have good blood return? Have you taken anything for the pain, such as ibuprophen or acetaminophen? The answers to these questions will help us to give you the best answer we can.
i have pain in my right elbow as i was throwing a football in 2002 in turkey and every time i trow a football it does feel like a nerve pain. ibuprofen 800 mg helps alot, i would suggest if you have a sharp pain in your elbow you try not to over exert it and if you do take a high dose of ibuprofen (not stacking pills) but get a doctors prescription for at lest 600 mg
i had problems for six mos they xrayed and said no fracture of the elbow however they never ckd the tendons- i was surprised to get tennis elbow diagnosis but no treatment helped. dont suffer it will get worse if its the tendon -see an orthopedic surgeon. you will not be able to push like opening a heavy store door if its the tendon. the pain travels up and down the arm. cold packs help till you see yr dr.
