... every 6 hours to 2mg dilaudid every 6 hours. I can't even feel the 2mg dose and the 40mg of oxy wasn't working. Any thoughts would be appreciated
for sure dilaudid, do not work very well in pill form, the fentanyl sounds good are you on the patch that is the best. i personally prefer oxycodone, and the er oxycontin they seem to work good, but to each his own, the fent. is about the same as oxycontin when working for pain. purrs. catspaw1955
Dilaudid comes in higher strengths like 4mg and 8mg or maybe look into MsIR(morphine ir) tabs 15mg and 30mg.
You are on a handsome dose of Fentanyl 75mcg transdermal system. Why don't you ask your doctor to increase the Dilaudid or change it if you don't feel it. Hydromorphone is seven times more potent than morphine.

Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) why have they not changed in my 30 yrs of taking? But did change OxyContin?
