... canals. The meds I am on do not help for after pain, the doctor ask me what I want for pain. I need something that will help me. What should I suggest??? That will help teeth for after care?
Ibuprofen is one of the best things that you can take for dental pain, if you even need anything. They will give you anesthetic for the procedure and you may not even need anything after. Be sure that your pain doctor is in the loop on this because if they do give you anything controlled and your pain doc isnt aware, it breaks your pain contract. The oxycodone should be just fine for this along with ibuprofen (800mg if you can take NSAIDS) for the inflammation. Your break through meds will work just fine for this acute pain too. (Oxy and Endocet both have oxycodone in them) If you can take ibuprofen, just have them give you the prescription strength 800mg and take around the clock as ordered for the first few days.
