Told me to take 1 tab 4 times a day. That didn't control my pain so she said take 1 tab 6 times a day. At what time intervals do I take it now? I usually wake up around 5am in pain.
Norco is a brand name for Vicodin. That said, you can take it every 4 hours. But I'm wondering why he didn't give you something time released also.
My doctor has me on morphine er15mg every 12 hours, with Oxycodone 10/325 every 6 hours for the breakthrough pain, as they call it. This works much better than the roller coaster effect of pain relief of just the Norco. Oxycodone is also stronger than Norco. Using a time released pain control also allows you to take less of the Norco.
These are all very addictive drugs so the less you can take, the better.
