I'm so sorry for you. Where is the nerve damage? How much did they cut out? I imagine they stripped out your lymph glands. I have stage 2 T aggressive atypical BCC. They wanted to cut out half of my face-bone, nose, eye, nose, etc. I didn't follow their advice, which made them really mad--what I'm trying to say, surgery can be extensive-chemo and radiation is brutal. It didn't help that I already had nerve damage from a botched surgery in the 1990s, now part of my nose is gone. Anyway, I might be able to give you some ideas. Have you tried any nerve blocks? Get back to me if you want. I'm thinking that nerve blocks might help, especially since you probably have RSD- My right hand turned black from nerve damage and my fingers flopped. Strong opiates didn't help at all. The stellate ganglion is the strongest nerve block. You probably have the lymph glands on your neck- and even your armpit taken out with stage 4.
Get back to me if you want-my heart goes out to you.
