The pain doctors always make me think they are the best and then they seem to wake up in a different world the next time you see see them after finding something that works they will start trying to give me shots in my neck which I have had and it caused more problems than answers This was one thing I had told them but they seem to be put off when you tell them that the medical community does not approve of these shots or the neurologist would give them. By the way my problem is sever and chronic back pain have had surgeries and each has left me with lease mobility and more pain they still tried to get me to get 4 to 7 vib fused .
Well you're being pretty judgemental. Neurologists wouldn't give them because an anesthesiologist gives them. I have never ever heard anyone in the medical community say they don't approve of these shots. When the dr mentions shots in your neck you should tell them what happened, but don't just march in there and say the medical community doesn't approve of them. That puts both of you in the wrong mood for successful treatment. They can't give us allot of narcs, without the government punishing them, they have to use other modalities.
I feel the frustration and pain your having to endure. It can and ( is ) difficult to find the right PM Dr. Who actually listens and with proffessioal compassion, took me almost 6 months to find my now PM. Dr. I'm from Berg/Co. NJ. The Dr is loc in Hoboken in Hudson Co.. I don't know what state you are from .. But if by some chance you are frm NJ. Or anyone reading this , I have been seeing many members here , needing a Dr in the Hudson Co.. Area I would be more then glad to recomend ... I wish you the best.
