My Neurologist at Cleveland Clinic prescribed 150mg of Lyrica to be taken every 8 hours for neuropathy nerve pain. That totals 450mg per day. When I first began taking Lyrica, the pain in my lower back, my fanny, and down both legs stopped within the first hour. I was thrilled. Whenever I woke up on the 4th morning, however, the pain was back. Will the pain stop again after I've taken Lyrica for a couple of weeks and my body adjusts to it? As far as side effects, mine were very minimal and have already (pretty much) subsided.
