I keep reading from people that aren't Pharmacists that Oxycodone/Acetaminophen 10-325 is dangerous due to the acetaminophen combined in the Oxycodone. My Tylenol bottle bought 11/1/15, states in the warning section that severe liver damage may occur if you take more than 4,000 mg of acetaminophen in 24 hrs. If I am taking 4 does of 10-325 in a 24 hour period, my total acetaminophen dosage consumed is 1,300mg per day. Even if I have a headache and take an extra two 500mg in 24 hours, I would have taken 2,300 mg which is not nearly enough to possibly cause liver damage. People should please try and refrain from making statements about Tylenol and liver damage if they aren't thoroughly reading what the dosage of acetaminophen people are taking with their Oxycodone. It can give folks an unnecessary scare if you are answering them with incorrect information.

Sometimes you just have to bite your lip when you see bad advice. A while ago we had some demented homeopath offering words of idiocy. One was a passionate debate about the merit in taking salad dressing to treat Hepatitis C and the same advice to a women who clearly had severe pancreatitis. Some advice does leave me a little sick.
VieraGuy; Just as Stephan has said but too many people don't read there bottles and a lot of products contain Tylenol in it. People like us know enough about Tylenol and taken right there really is not that big of chance in fact years ago that is why so many products like oxycodone/apap and such went to the 325/10 mg because some of us would get to close on a daily basis to the maximum dose of tylenol your doing it right and just forget what others say as long as you know There were lots of people that used to take ex.st.Tylenol by the handful after a night out drinking and that is where the liver damage really was happening but anyone with half a brain knows to read the bottles like alot of sleeping pills have Tylenol in it or cough syrups and so on.Just keep doing as you are.Your a smart person we have to take and watch for ourselves too. Have a good day and Ignore the comments. Chuck1957
