So my question is what pain medication would be equivalent or a little stronger because I have high tolerance to pain meds but when i go back in a couple days she is going make me switch to something else so does anyone have any suggestions? I have taken about everything including morphine patches, MS Contin, the hydromorphone ER medicine Exalgo, and nothing has worked as well as the oxymorphone. But there is nothing I can do because of the FDA. Any advice would greatly be appreciated!!! Oh and i dont have insurance either trying to get on disability and the Opana's were already $240 for 60 tabs of 15mg. So please help me i go back in a few days and need some advice. Ive even asked pharmacist and they dont want to tell me anything thanks for the help in advanced...
When you see your doctor next week and you two decide what med you should take, contact the manufacturer. Most of them have a Patient Assistance Department that helps low income people. I am on disability (age 52) and I get my Humira and Duragesic Patch for free thru each ones assistances programs. Let your doctor know this is how you will be handling any rx's he writes, he may be able to lead you in the right direction. There is no shame in asking for help when you need it. You and doc will have to fill out paperwork, most are very simple, and that can get you up to a year of free or cheap meds. Best of luck,,,
JA82; Yes you well not have any problem finding something when you go to the doctor and that is great information that Chelli gave you let your doctor know you're going to have to go that route they may already know of some of the companies plans. Or when you get home and know the names of the medication's Type type name in above in the search bar and you well see programs there to call and they well help you Best wishes.
