..Does anyone here need oxygen every time they lay down. I go down into the 60's at times when I am in bed trying to fall asleep. It goes down immediately if I just lay down.So I was put on oxygen. But they never gave me an explanation to why this is happening. They said they don't know. Shouldn't they figure out what is wrong with me? Any thoughts?

Have your heart and lungs checked for proper flow of blood carrying oxygen Cat scan showed my illness where x ray did not. Also possibly sleep apnea you should be tested for. I use oxygen for Interstitial Lung Disease day time.
My O2 levels were worse at night. I argued against sleep apnea testing as not needed. After being tested ... I have severe sleep apnea and have to use a Bi Pap machine at high levels for help inhaling and exhaling while I sleep.
