... am scared to ask anyone for help.. so this is the first type of supoport i am reaching out to... I am so lost and unhappy!!!
justme234, Hi my name is marjorie zych. Welcome aboard. You have made your first step to recovery--admitting there is a problem. You have also come to a wonderful site people here are so supportive it can be overwhelming sometimes but it is GREAT!!! christine here is wonderful, very knowledgable and very supportive, she has helped me so much. Well back to you my dear, before I get to far I would like to add you to my friends list if you don't mind it always helps to have someone to talk to anytime, o.k.? Now, I would suggest when your more comfortable, to get some professional help as well but don't leave here because you will need all the support you can get it is not easy I have been there too. I was addicted to Fentynal Patches as well as other presciption meds so hang in there. There is two drugs that may help with withdrawels, they helped me alot. They are: Clonidine and Librium.
The Clonidine helps with the physical symptoms and the Librium will help with the physical as well as the psychological effects of the withdrawels. It is much easier to stop the Clonidine and Librium than the Oxy's. Clonidine is not addictive and the Librium is not hard to stop because you won't be on it long if you get the right doctor. I will be here to support you and help you in any way that I can, don't be afraid to ask for any help and support that you may need. If you don't ask we won't know how and when to be there for you. This is probably the best site you will come across, like I said everyone is GREAT, so don't be afraid we are here for you my friend, marjorie zych.
Hi justme, I would like to add some words of encouragement here, you are on a great site and have admitted your problem! marjorie and christine are both wonderful people, and will help you as best they can. Hang in there, justme... we have all been in the awful boat you find yourself in right now. There is light at the end of opiate addiction tunnel... I promise you this!! If I got off that damned OC, then you can do it as well. Keep your chin up, and forge ahead, find a doc and tell him/her about your problem. If the doc is a jerk, just walk out, and keep going until you find a doc that will help you!!
your friend, sweetlemon you may PM me any time you like, and I shall bore you with my FUN WITHDRAWAL STORY!
