There are different rehabs that have different approaches and beliefs. The 12 step program is a very common approach. There are faith based programs and others that are more updated that rely on medicines and exercise, eating properly and staying active.
The old style rehabs have about a 5-7% success rate where as methadone/buprenorphene are up over 85%.
Opiate addiction can be controlled now and enable the addict to have a normal life of working or going to school ect. Rather then having to constantly search for meetings and having to believe in gods and so on.
There are a small percentage of people who respond to the old style of rehab and that's ok but you really need to get with the medical side of controlling addiction and leave the praying to the churches... Good luck... Dave

Why does Percocet (any strength) make me sick, but oxycodone doesn't if they are basically the same?
