Has anyone else noticed that not all of the brands work. I'm on 30mgs 5 times a day. There is only one brand that really works for me but for some reason I can't find them now. Is it just me or is this a common problem?
I don't believe it's just you. My husband also takes this med and has had different brands given from the pharmacy at times and didn't get the same relief either. Also at times even with the brand that works has had problems at times. He said seems like they don't all have the same amount or strength of meds in them. So, not sure it's a common problem with people but no you're not alone.
Generic meds can have different inactive ingredients. This can make it absorb differently and that can alter its effect.
I have noticed it too. I think it is just due to absorption depending on what inactive ingredients it has. I usually get Qualitest or Actavis but the best ones I had were made by Caraco. I hate the Ethex ones, they give me really BAD headaches! The Caraco ones were really good and lasted the full 6 hours. I wish the pharmacy would get those again.
