I have chronic back pain (3 bulging discs with 1 herniated). I was on a pain mgmt plan of hydrocodone 10/325 5-7 daily along with MS - Contin 30mg 2x daily. Doc changed me to oxycodone 10/325 4x daily along with the same dosage of the MS-Contin. The oxycodone has made me really tired and rundown and has also not fully relieved my pain. Any advice on what to try next?
Oxycodone 10/325 4x daily or hydrocodone 10/325 5-7 daily for chronic back pain?

In today's climate it is best to go to your Dr with you issue and not with a suggestion on a specific pain med, this is a red flag, especially if you tell him you get the info from a friend or the Internet. Preserve this relationship, there are many of us with far worse conditions that can no longer get the meds they need because of he high level of abuse and growing number of Drs who have just stopped writing scripts.
