... anxious. Upset lots, sore throat, cough, choked once as couldn't swallow due to sore throat. Needless to say he as stopped taking it now. Go back for a check up in aweek. Was OK on 2.5mg got put on slow release 10mg. Why as it affected him this way?
Linda; Many of the things you have asked are side effects of this medication. anxiety, upset and problems swallowing And seeing and hearing things that are not there. So sounds like the timed release is not helping at all. If he was doing better on the 2.5mg So sounds like your son is having alot of problems just from the medication make sure you let your doctor know about this. But at least you can let him know that many of the problems are from this medication and not him.Best you just keep him off of it until you see the doctor. Wish I could be of more help but at least you know it is the medication. Please if you can update after he has seen the doctor.Chuck1957
