I once was prescribed prednisone for eczema and facial swelling, but after it went away it came back soon and the doctor then told me to get an otc medication to combat its leftover effects... what is this medicine (anti-inflammatory?)?
Sorry, I'm not quite sure what your doctor was referring to.
Are you meaning an antihistamine? Antihistamines are prescribed to treat allergy symptoms such as itching.
Anti-inflammatory drugs are used to treat inflammation.
