You are allergic to sulfonamides not sulfur, two different things. Therefore if you look on the label and it has something sulfate, that isn't what you're allergic to. It would be ok with your other meds.
You are allergic to antibiotics in a class called sulphonomides. The short version of this is often called "sulfa drugs" It is NOT the same thing as sulfer-completely unrelated compounds, so like posted above, if you see sulfer or sulphates listed on a label, it is not the same thing and wont cause the same reaction you get when you take sulfa antibiotics..
