... endometriosis. The doc was unable to remove all of it. I never used any form of estrogen after that. I started osphena 8 weeks ago for vaginal atrophy, and am feeling discomfort in the same area where the endo was left after surgery. (cul de sac area).
I don't take Osphena but I do use Estrace cream. I had endometriosis 45 years ago and had a complete hysterectomy. I was worried about the endo returning because the doctor was unable to get it all out. I recently had a MRI that showed I have no endometriosis now at all so I can safely use the Estrace.
