... wanted to start my period a week early (which I have never done) due to a upcoming family vacation so I went ahead and did not take my last active pills (the darker blue pills- days 15-20 before the green sugar pills) all to start early. My period came like clock work that Wednesday and lasted my normal 4-5 days- ending Sunday. I then started a new pack that Sunday night. I have not bleed at all the past 3 days, but when I just used the restroom it looks like I am starting another period (light brown discharge/spotting) on what would be my normal period light start day this week (if I would have kept taking the dark blue active pills from the last pack). Is this normal when scheduling an early period? My whole point was to have it come early not have two in a row
You can't do that. That is not how you skip a period. You must take all the active pills before you have a period otherwise. You won't be protected. What gave you the idea you could "schedule an early period".? If you don't want to have a period when its due you don't take the sugar pills, but instead start a new pack. Particularly with the phasic pills, because they are all different hormones, you can't stop early. Your body is probably going to try to have a period when its due. I would not have sex without a condom until I'd taken 7 active pills.
