What if I am starting my period 2 days before taking my green pills.
The green tablets are inert or inactive tablets that dont have any hormone in them. They are there to cause "withdrawal bleeding" otherwise known as your period and to remind you to take a pill every day. Sometimes your period may start early, especially when you are just starting birth control pills and your body is getting used to the hormones, but it can occur out of the blue sometimes too. It is no big deal, you just want to keep taking your pills as they come in the pack no matter what your body is doing-bleeding or not bleeding. You take each days tablet as they come in the pack and when you finish all the green tablets, you will start a new pack even if you are still bleeding (or not). Never alter the way you take your tablets.
