... taken medications had no coverage. I forgot you had to start them after your period. Is this a problem? Should I stop them only third day?
Hey Goofyrider. So let me make sure I understand you correctly before I answer. You are on your third day third pill in pack but you're not on your period? If that's right then yes you should stop taking them & wait for your period then start taking them again on the 2nd day of your period. That way you get the hormone cycle set the way it should be in order for the pills to work the best for you. I hope this helps.
The manufacturer recommends that they be started on either Day 1 or the Sunday following your start. When you take them any other time than this, you can have a little more trouble regulating your cycle. I would also recommend you use back up protection, like condoms and spermicide, until you have completed a whole pack so that you are sure ovulation was suppressed.
