... time every month but i'm 3 days late now and i'm getting a little worried. I do not use condoms while having sex but i'm very good with keeping control of my patch changes etc. My stomach feels weird lately but this may be because my period is coming, is it possible for it to randomly come later than usual? And also I've been going to the toilet quite regularly. Help?
I agree with Kaismama, if you have been doing everything correctly in using the patches, it is unlikely that you are pregnant. Once your birth control has taken effect, condoms are for preventing STD's, not for preventing pregnancy. If you are in a long term monogamous relationship and you are sure your partner doesnt have an STD then you dont have to use condoms after the initial waiting period (waiting for the birth control to be fully effective) Sometimes we can be late for whatever reason. When you are worried about possible pregnancy, you seem to note those little irregularities more than when you arent sexually active but no woman is absolutely on time, every time. Your period may be pretty regular then for whatever reason, one month it decides to be different. This is just the way things are. If you have been using your contraceptive faithfully and correctly, you should have no worries. You can wait a few more days or you can do a test for peace of mind. If you miss two periods in a row, you should see your gynecologist.
