my menstruation start on july 25,2013 and ended on july 28,2013,can i still use evra patch tomorrow august 3,2013?
It is recommended that you start the patch on the first day of your menstrual cycle, which is the first day of bleeding. This ensures your body the best adjustment (a fresh cycle and clean slate) to the patch, and minimizes the risk of pregnancy. Starting the patch too close to your fertile period or ovulation may put you at risk for pregnancy and/or throw your period off schedule. I would recommend NOT applying the patch mid-cycle unless you use a condom and are prepared for an off-schedule period while your cycle resets its clock.
