... they say i am OA after not getting help from enbrel or humira. I have joint pain eveerywhere. I have had good luck treating fibromyalgia with tramadol and neurontin( gabapentin). Hello MN nurse. Get a new rheumy. Yes there are others with this combination. In fact my sister has RA and Osteo. These are auto immune diseases. Only symptoms can be treated. It is progressive, as you know.
Since you are in the land of the mayo clinic perhaps you can get a referral if your insurance allows. They do wonderful work ups and you will get the latest treatment options. If not possible, please find another doctor. A GP or other is not equipped with enough knowledge to handle this.
