Medicines made for animals are not held to the strict manufacturing standards that meds made for human consumption are. This is why they are cheaper. They may have adulterants or materials banned from the manufacturing of human medications or it may not be as sterile as human medicines. It is not worth the risk. Dont take pet meds any more than you would eat pet food!
