Im no doctor, but from my understanding, Morphine allergies are usually limited to any meds containing codiene. Therefore, many narcotic pain rrelievers are available that do not contain codiene such as, Hydrocodone, oxycodone, and oxycontin to name a few. I believe that morphine and codiene are the only two narcotics actually made from opium. The rest are chemically compounded from a synthetic form of opium. Hope this helps gives you an idea on where to start.
