... mind messing with me what do I do been on them six yrs
You have several choices. You can taper off the pills slowly over time and avoid most of the withdrawals or you could go onto a medication such as Methadone or Suboxone which are used for opiate detox. Each of these has its pros and cons. Tapering takes determination while the use of a medicine like Suboxone will alleviate the withdrawals eventually you'll need to taper off it or still deal with withdrawals.
If you would like help with a taper plan, would be happy to help just need to know the strengths and how much of each you have been taking daily.
chuc39, i see that laurieshay go to you, shes great and gave me a taper plan that i showed my dr and he is ok with it. yes i hate the wds and have very little with the slow taper im on. i would suggest a taper, if you can take off for a week or so you can do a faster taper, but in my case i have to work and i am trying to avoid wds, im on a very slow taper with the support of my dr. hang in there and keep comming here, we are all family and know what you are going thru, and yes its a mind thing. hang in there and goodluck, helpmehawaii
