i have a bad craving for a pill bad! but ive been clean 7 days now.. goin on 8.. i use to take about 4-6 percs when i got em, 10 lorcets at the most a day when i got them.. and about 10 tramadol when i got them.. never mixed them.. if i was to relapse and maybe take 2-3 a day of percs 4-5 lorcets and 6 tramadols a day when i got em would i go through hell withdrawls again or no?
I think it may depend on how many days you used. You may experience the hell of WD. Please add more info to your question... how many days did you use? How much, and did you ingest/snort or inject the stuff?
I know how bad WD can be, and I feel for you, yet if you want your life back, please please get clean from this garbage because it will steal your soul.
I wish you the best,
Why find out??? But honey... if you do the next time you go through withdrawls, keep a journal of it... write down all the horrific emotional and physical feeling about it and save it. When you are clean again take that journal out and READ it! It may prevent you from ever going through that again! I am going into 30 day detox on Sunday and someone on this website mentioned to journal all of my bad experiences. Well, I have enough to write a book and when I get out, hopefully it will save my ass!!! Good luck to you!!!
Hi ExOpiateChris, I'm CurrentOpiateChris. I didn't see the word pain mentioned at all in your question. So it's safe to assume they were for recreational purposes only. Oh yes, I remember those days. I wish I had a nickel for every pill I took and didn't need. I'd be rich. But the way I'm reading your question, it doesn't sound like you really want help, just an answer to if you dabble, will you suffer. Can't afford detox, insurance is crap, but think about what you paid for the pills. The going rate for a 10mg perc is about $6-$10 per pill! Do the math and you could very well have gotten yourself some help. As sweetlemon mentioned, suboxone would be a good avenue for you to check out. It is for people just like you. It kills the cravings and stops any wd's in its' tracks. It is not meant for long term use or as a good pain medication.
It is a tool to get you from craving opiates to weening down, getting off the subs, and being happy about being clean. Booter is right about them being addicting as well. But if you use the subs as they are truly meant, you can be opiate-free. Another vital tool is a support group such as N/A. They will help you understand why you crave them, help you deal with the daily struggles, and it's a proven fact you're less likely to relapse when you have a support system in place. Please don't take my comments the wrong way. I'm not trying to bash you about opiates. Many of us have been there (are there) and do understand. I still take opiates. Sorry about the lecture. But to answer your question, no, you probably won't suffer too badly. But what happens the next time? And the time after that? You will always need more and more. That's really how it starts out... just a few here and there and before you know it, you're hooked once again, paying out big bucks. No one can tell you what to do, it's your choice. But if you really want help, consult with a suboxone doctor. Or even just go to a few meetings. You may be pleasantly surprised. Please be safe and think about the bigger picture.
My best wishes,
Sorry guys just jumped back on this post.. forgot i wrote it was on here haha im now on day 10... what had happened to me was last night i went to the ER i woke up from a nap 10-15min nap and walked to the bathroom had short breathe and passed out for maybe a min and woke up confused.. and they said i was having panic attacks and anxiety.. they gave me Vistaril this shit is driving me back to opiates ok ughhh.. i read all of your comments and stuff the reason i got caught up in these in the first place was the denist i got a root canal 3 times different weeks and they gave me Lorcet 10's and ive been goin crazy since not knowing but now i do. i tryed to go to the hospital to detox my insurance was crap.. that or they had no beds.. so i quit cold turkey.. and all i think about is my next fix and its pathetic.. but right now they way i feel it will make all of that go away. im thinkin about tapering down..
ExOpiate, I just read your question about taking more pills and I have to say-WOW!!! You sound like you were jonesing really bad. What ever did you decide to do? it seems like you were more concerned about how many you could take without going back into withdrawals than if you should take them. Am I right? If so, you don't sound like your ready to quit just yet and I feel for you I really do. You also sound like you don't really have access to these drugs. Do you have a prescription? or are you buying them off of the street? you don't have to answer this here, just ask yourself the question, and if you are buying them off of the street you are putting yourself at such risks!!! Please be careful, however you are purchasing these drugs. I'm not trying to preach or anything, but would you be interested in getting your life back and getting off of these drugs? there is a drug called Suboxone that is used to help people get off of opiates.
it works!! really !! Look it up on the computer, or ask questions here, it really can help you when you are ready to quit. Don't spend your entire life doctor shopping and chasing the euphoria, it just isn't worth it. before you know it, it will start to effect your entire life. it will effect your job, your friends, your family. Don't wait until you have lost everything and you wake up one day feeling completely lost. Good luck, NIK
