On Monday morning I was put to sleep to have my teeth removed, all my top ones have gone and a majority of my back bottom ones too, last night I was unable to sleep due to swelling of my gums and the stitches tightening causing extreme pain, I am on medication to help ease the pain and swelling but it didn't work until about 5 hours later, I upped my dosage. Under the stitches is tissue I have managed to remove some of it due to causing struggle to breathe when my gums swelling up is this normal and is there something I can do to avoid it again tonight because I'm in tears
The best thing to do is to keep on top of the pain by taking the medicine as prescribed. If it says take every 4 hours as needed for pain, then for the next day or so take it exactly every 4 hours on the dot. By waiting to take it after it is really hurting it takes longer for the medicine to work. If you keep on top of it you shouldn't go through that again tonight.
If I knew what you were taking and how it is prescribed I could explain it better.
I hope you have a better night.
I did leave a comment yesterday regarding my meds but still hasn't been approved so I'll try reply to my question, I'm taking tramadol and naproxen, yesterday evening after waking up my face has blown up with an infection and this morning it has gone even worse there are big balls under my eyes that are swollen that effects my vision
