16 years later i am fine and well, i really want two but they will be so small. will i be more susceptible to blood poisoning or it 'going straight to my heart'? what does that mean and could i just get it done and just be prescribed antibiotics? or could some side affects be more significant? Thanks.
If you aren't on anti rejection meds or steroids, you would have no more of a chance of infection then anyone else. I would advise you to ask your doc about it. At your age it could wait a few years. Whatever you do, don't get someone's name on it just because you're going with them, lol.
