To get an accurate idea of what your blood pressure is really doing you need to have a blood pressure monitor attached to your body with readings taken every hour or so. Blood pressure readings can fluctuate throughout the day for one reason or another.
If your blood pressure is not coming down sufficiently your doctor may decide to increase your Lisinopril dose or add another medication.
Caffeine can increase your blood pressure.
