I'm just not clear on if while using implanon you need to use a condom or not, will you get pregnant without one?
You will not need a condom for contraception once you have the Implanon inserted. It will protect you from pregnancy.
You should however remember to practice safe sex (to reduce the chance of catching a sexually transmitted disease) and use a condom when appropriate.
Thanks :) I was just unclear cuz its like 99.9 percent protection you know..there's just that one percent chance of a pregnancy but I guess that's only if something goes wrong with the implanon right? Sorry I get really paranoid about these things
