The information I have found on the web, including Medscape (I have an MD degree), does not give any positive results of Adderall, except for case reports.
Studies have shown that therapeutic dosing with stimulants in people may increase the size of certain parts of the brain related to controlling focus, motivation and attention.
This is very positive.
Some studies even suggest students on long term use of stimulants showed improvement in overall academic performance.
I'm not sure why people focus on certain drugs and not others, I've witnessed drug seekers desperate for diphenhydramine which is sold OTC.
Sometimes I think people just demonize things for sensationalism.
