I didnt get a new one in until 8-10 hours after sex. When I got home, I just put a new one in. Did I do the right thing? Am i still protected?
You don't remove your nuvaring to have sex. I don't know why you would think you have to do that. But you don't. The ring if it's properly inserted does not get in the way while having intercourse. It doesn't hurt you or your partner and is not supposed to be removed. But technically you have 24hrs of protection. So you would be just fine having replaced it in that time frame.

I took my nuvaring out for my period and forgot to put it back in. It was out for a week and a half?
