Hi I have a tricky situation. I recently had to have biopsies done on my cervix. For the procedure I had to remove my Nuvaring which I had in for a week & a half. The plan was to take it out for the procedure and then wait two hours for the clotting medicine to set on the biopsy sites before I re-inserted the ring. Well after two hours & a sits bath I tried re-inserting the ring but it would not go back in. I tried several times but without any luck. I ended up having to throw the ring away. I called my doctor the next day to see what to do. She said if you have another ring try inserting it as soon as you can. As soon as I got home that night I inserted a new one. So I had the ring out a total of a day & a half. About a week later I started spotting & have been ever since then. I even went in to make sure it wasn't my biopsy sites that had opened up again or if it's an infection. The sites are fine & I'm still waiting on my results of infection. Long story short my question is on my regular schedule I'm suppose to take my ring out this Friday. But since I put in a brand new ring a week after the first, do I still stick to my original schedule?
