I've been on the NuvaRing for about 4 months now and I still don't know when to put my ring in? Do I put it in right when I get my period? Or when my period ends? I have been putting it in after my period ends and taking it out in 21 days, as I thought you are suppose to. My period starts 3 or 4 days after I take my ring out, so when my period is over (about 10 days of my NuvaRing being out) is when I put it back in. Is it even working or am I doing it all wrong. Do I put it in during my period on the 6th day? Because I'd still be really bloody from my period? Would I still be protected the way I'm doing it, or do I need to put it on on the 6th day anyways? Is the Nuva ring working for my schedule or do I need to change it?
Once you've started it, you don't pay attention to your period. You have 21 days with it in, then 7 with it out. They have an app on the web site to remind you. Any time you leave it out more then 7 days you are at risk of pregnancy and when you put it back in you have to wait 7 days for unprotected sex.

NuvaRing - I counted the weeks wrong and took out the nuva ring exactly a week early. I took it out?
