The first month, I went three weeks with the ring in, then immediately replaced it with a new ring to skip my period. I successfully skipped it. After another three weeks, I went to replace the ring again to skip my period, but I am now somewhere between spotting and having my period. I don't have a question as to why this happened, as I know skipping periods doesn't always work out, but now I'm not sure what to do. Should I leave the ring in until the next time I am meant to take it out (two more weeks), and use tampons if I start really bleeding? Or should I take the ring out despite it not being the official switch time, and start over?
